About Us Tree Tops will provide a continuum of care to children and young adults with disabilities and the children’s homes within the campus will offer both short breaks and residential placements to children and young people who have a physical and/or learning disability, including those with a complex health need and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Working at Tree Tops will give you the opportunity to be part of a team helping shape and develop our children’s homes and local short break offer.

 

The role We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated night care assistant, within our short breaks children’s home, based at Tree Tops. We are looking for resilient, creative and versatile individuals who will be prepared to work flexibly on a rota that includes some weekends and bank holidays, which attract salary enhancements and additional supplements for night work.

 

Applicants are required to have some knowledge of disabilities and be able to support children and young people with their personal, social, emotional, physical and health care needs. The post holder will be required to provide for all individual care needs including sleep routines and personal care, monitor each child during the night and undertake any specific observation relating to the child’s care and/or medical condition as outlined in the child’s care plan.

 

You must have a good general education and be willing and able to undertake relevant training. You will be supported to complete the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, which is a requirement of the job role, unless an equivalent qualification has already been achieved. Why work with us?
