Are you passionate about improving the health and wellbeing outcomes for people in Wakefield? Are you an experienced Mental Health Practitioner? Are you committed to promoting the voice of Social Work in Mental Health? If so, you may be just the person we are looking for.
We have an appealing opportunity for a level 2 Social Worker to join our integrated, multi-disciplinary Core Mental Health Team. As a team we are friendly, open and supportive of one another. To undertake this role, you will need a proven track record of supporting positive risk taking and be adept in strength-based, outcome focussed practice and have the relevant Social Worker qualification with desirable experience in mental health.
We work with services users aged 18-65 who have moderate to severe mental health issues. Referrals are made through several our trust services. Our base is a community team hub which helps to provide flexibility, openness and ease for support and advice. The base is within a central location with amenities, transport links and parking easily accessible. Here's what some of the team says about the team:
“It’s good working with different disciplines and having learning opportunities from other professions.”
“As a service, we can implement change.”
“The team are friendly and welcoming. I also feel valued.”
